Eleni Ireland, President, TextLinkBrokers.comI would like to welcome you to our first release of TLB Newsletter.  Over the coming issues you will have an opportunity to read firsthand the latest approaches and strategies for your businesses to be found in the Search Engines.

As you all know, these have been economically challenging times for our nation and the world.  However, while many organizations had to close their doors or downsize significantly, I’m very pleased to say TextLinkBrokers.com has grown significantly – both in size and in revenue! This is the direct result of successfully helping other organizations to grow their businesses. There is nothing more rewarding than being behind an organization that has helped many businesses grow and/or have their message heard, establish a brand or manage their reputations.

Through the extensive efforts of our New Product Development and Research and Development teams we have added over twenty positions and considerably increased the number of products and services available to our Clients! What this has meant to our Clients is an opportunity to participate in cutting edge strategies, a wide variety of products and services to diversify their portfolio and most importantly rankings for terms they never dreamed they could rank for.   More and more today we are engaging in providing diversified marketing services for our clients that are results focused.

Our latest answer to these requests is the further expansion of our Marketing Department. Clients can now order converting Landing Pages, Banner Ads, keyword-rich copy and more with just one phone call to TLB.

Another area we are continuing to foster and grow is with our reseller clients. Resellers are outside internet marketing and SEO companies who resell our services to their clients.  We have added several major resellers to our client list so far this year and many are currently undergoing our qualifications process.

Additionally, we have more than tripled our site inventory in less than two years. We now offer more than 8,000 sites, covering virtually every category – and those are just the URLs. The total number of pages available to us now tops 80,000. Better yet, these partners have also been referring other partners to us on a global basis!  We are truly becoming a worldwide organization. This expansion of our inventory has provided us with abundant avenues of diversity from which strategies can be formulated and relevancy can be more tightly intertwined.   These examples are just the tip of the iceberg. Stay tuned for more exciting news.

As part of their mission to provide complete SEO services to their customers, TextLinkBrokers.com recently announced the formation of their new Landing Page Optimization (LPO) department.

“Landing pages are literally the page that you “land on” when you click from a banner or PPC ad,” Troy Ireland, TLB CEO, said. “We have been getting more requests from our customers to help them achieve better conversions by rewriting and redesigning their landing pages. Now, we have the creative people on board to do that.”

Under the leadership of Beth Bijou, director of marketing, the LPO department recently began development of landing pages for a variety of clients, including TextLinkBrokers.com itself.

“We’re in a unique position where we can be our own test market,” Bijou said. “Plus, we had two clients who were anxious to have us change their sites for them.”

Bijou added that landing page customers do not have to be current customers with TextLinkBrokers.com.

“We always welcome new business,” Bijou said. “While we’re designing your page, we may discover many other ways for TextLinkBrokers.com to help you.”

Why Do You Need a Landing Page?

For most people – and certainly for the people reading this newsletter – the only reason to have a website is to accomplish something – sell product, add members, register people, etc. The best way to do that is to attract people to your site, and get them to make a decision as quickly as possible.
The best way to do that is with an effective, easy-to-navigate landing page.

A landing page is literally the page a potential customer “lands on” when they click your banner ad or PPC ad.  It should be designed to satisfy the immediate need of the viewer, as described on the ad that brought them to the page.

Once you have them there, the object of the page is to get them to make a decision.

This is accomplished by giving them an attractive layout that:

  1. Directs their eyes to where you want them to go. Usually, this is either a form or an order button, or some other kind of direct response mechanism.
  2. Tells them what you want them to do. “Click here!”  “Sign up now!”  “Get your free coupon!”

Frequently, landing pages can serve a second mission: to hold keyword phrases and copy that attracts the attention of search engines rather than customers. This copy is frequently found “below the fold” on a landing page, and visible only to those curious enough to scroll off of the top of the page.
